Irish Beer

Last year, Ian and I spent 6- months traveling through Ireland.  We stayed on coastal farms and worked our way around the island.  We connected with distant cousins, ate heaps of brown bread and butter, learned to love tea and instant coffee, trimmed trees, stacked peat and picked weeds.  Oh, and we drank at the local pubs after a hard day’s work!  We each had our respective regular orders.

Ian fell in love with Beamish, a stout local to the Cork area

I started with Guinness but quickly moved onto Bulmer’s Cider for the duration of our trip

So raise a glass of your favorite brew in honor of St. Patrick’s Day tomorrow! Cheers!
